For our anniversary issue, ‘Roots’, we wanted to revisit talent, to discover the myriad of ways in which they have grown, but also how much of us stays the same, grounded by our past. In this story, we meet William again after seven years. The first time we met him was in 2018 in Ireland, when he was just fourteen years old. Our story was called ‘Mouldings of a Young Man’, and after our conversation this issue, the same title could be given as he chats through the process of becoming, as he closes in on his dream of leading a feature film with the July 3rd release of ‘Young Washington.’ - Boys by Girls.
