William was born in Australia and has travelled the world from a young age thanks to his successful career in acting, allowing him to harness his inquisitive nature and strong interpersonal skills. He appeared as Giovanni de’ Medici in Netflix’s Medici (2019), and prior to the Capri Award–winning series, held notable roles in Warner Bros.’ Arrow, Neighbours, and Jack Irish.

Alongside his screen work, William has built a strong international profile within fashion and culture. His notable fashion work includes collaborations with Saint Laurent, Valentino, Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, AMI Paris, and Armani. 2026 marks a breakout year for William, with a series of international screen projects. Following his role in the major Chinese feature Dongji Rescue, he will feature alongside Callum Turner in the upcoming television adaptation of Neuromancer. The year culminates with his portrayal of George Washington in the feature film Young Washington, directed by Jon Erwin and starring Ben Kingsley, Andy Serkis, Mary-Louise Parker, Kelsey Grammer, Mia Rodgers, and Jonno Davies. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 4 July (Independence Day) and will be supported by international press.
