Marc André

Recognised as one of the most promising double bassists of his generation and hailed as a “future world star,” Marc André is redefining the solo possibilities of his instrument. He appears regularly in leading international concert halls including the Wiener Konzerthaus, Wiener Musikverein, Salzburger Mozarteum, Auditorio Nacional de Música Madrid, and the Grand Auditorium of Radio France Paris.

The 2025/26 season brings major milestones, including the world premiere of a new concerto by Ivan Boumans with the Liechtenstein Sinfonieorchester and solo debuts in Taiwan and South Korea. In spring 2026, Marc André releases his debut album on Warner Classics, becoming the first double bass soloist in history to sign an exclusive contract with a major classical record label.
